CASA Program

(3-6 years)

The GCMS CASA Program is designed to establish a robust foundation for students to cultivate thoughtfulness and independence as they progress on their journey toward becoming capable, lifelong learners grounded in Christian education. Children aged 3-6 possess an innate desire to learn and an extraordinary capacity to absorb information from their surroundings.

In our CASA room, children participate in a two-hour uninterrupted Montessori work cycle delivered by qualified Montessori educators. This experience is enhanced by one hour of inquiry-based STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), facilitated by registered early childhood educators. This approach promotes high-order thinking and creativity, catering to the needs of gifted learners and ensuring a comprehensive method to intellectual, physical, and social development. Additionally, students enjoy time in our lush evergreen playground, promoting their overall well-being and outdoor exploration.

Our curriculum is designed to encourage children to explore their interests while being grounded in Christian values and principles. To enhance their physical development, CASA students participate in specialized lacrosse training, fostering teamwork, coordination, and fitness. Furthermore, they receive Physical Education lessons twice a week with a dedicated P.E. teacher, supporting their overall health and active lifestyle.

Through this thoughtfully designed CASA Program, we empower our students to become independent learners and engaged citizens, equipped with the skills and values necessary to navigate their futures with confidence and purpose. This foundation also prepares them for a smooth transition into their elementary learning journey.
